Again Never Again

Choosers of paths less traveled, us,
come upon scenes not faced often,
customary wisdom helps us not,
blunder and stumble we must.

No texts as guide for us,
on occasion we fall, get hurt,
'never again' we mutter
as we right ourselves.

But anew at the next juncture
the untrodden path we take,
falling down once again utter
again 'never again'.
